Some Cool People and a Makeover!

Hello, everyone! Maybe some of my regular readers (and I don't think I have very many -sadface-) have seen that I have posted a list of blogs related to writing. I have learned a lot from these folks and I hope everyone else can benefit from their knowledge too.

Mindy McGinnis and her black cat reside at "Writer, Writer Pants on Fire" (isn't that a cool blog name?), and her blog is probably one of my favorites to read. She posts things like author chats, book reviews, query critiques, her random thoughts, and other really neat stuff. Her debut novel "Not a Drop to Drink" will be released in 2013, and I can't wait to read it. Hop on over to her blog to learn more about her!

"From the Write Angle" is a collaborative blog. Several people post on here, and they usually post some pretty neat and helpful stuff. The resources on here are really awesome and helpful to beginning writers such as myself.

R.C. Lewis, believe it or not, used to be my math teacher! She taught me all I know about derivatives and integration. She also taught me a lot about writing matters, and I'm really grateful for all that she's taught me (even factoring polynomials, yuck!). She writes geeky-chic YA lit, and her debut novel, "Stitching Snow", will be out in 2014. -Sniffles- I'm so proud of her, she really deserves to be published. Check out her new site, it's really cool!

"In the Jungle" is where the lion sleeps tonight and the lion happens to be Riley Redgate! She doesn't post a lot of stuff due to her being a college student (I can relate, ugg). She has some neat posts, and some really great novel ideas.

Jamie Weil is my mother's cousin and a fellow writer. Her YA psychological thriller, "First Break", will be published, and the main character's name is Paige (isn't that funny?). I'm looking forward to reading it, Jamie! She also posts some cool writing-related and sometimes health-related stuff.

Let's  not forget my own totally groovy blog, "Page by Paige"! I write people stories. Sometimes it's YA and MG, sometimes it's not. Lately though, I feel the Pages in this blog don't exactly reflect Paige herself. I'm going to give my blog a makeover and add a little structure to it. I plan to do some author reviews (for example, I will see Stephen Chbosky), a people watch  sort of thing (talk about what exactly makes us human), and general writing/life related posts. Three times a week is good during the summer, and when I go back to school, it'll drop off to one time a week (or no times a week, but hopefully that doesn't happen). Yeah! I'm up for the challenge!
