The Paige Page

Hello everyone, I’m Paige, and welcome to my blog, “Page by Paige”! I mostly write MG and YA, but I always write about people. I like to ask the question, “What exactly makes us human?” and I attempt to answer that question with my stories. Is it language, religion, love, or is it any and all of them? Is it our capacity to change for the better? I guess we all have to find our own answer. The genres I write in are usually contemporary and science fiction, but I'm not picky.

I am currently going to Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C., majoring in English and Secondary Education with a minor in Philosophy. My favorite philosophers are Plato, Camus, and St. Augustine. My favorite authors are John Green, Stephen Chbosky, and Cornelia Funke. I don’t really have a favorite teacher…The world, maybe?

My current work-in-progress is a contemporary MG novel, “The Garden of Sunflowers”. I predict the first draft will be about 30,000 words, and it should be ready to critique by July. E-mail me if you’re interested in helping me out with this project, and I’ll gladly read your stuff in return.
